We checked 15 Tunbridge Wells shops, from Jeremy's Home Store to Hall's Bookshop and Maisie K in Cranbrook, for opening hours and addresses. Updated November 2026.
Tunbridge Wells has 15 independent shops worth a Christmas shopping trip in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with opening hours, addresses and what each one sells. Jeremy’s Home Store, Hall’s Bookshop, Trevor Mottram on The Pantiles and the High Street boutiques are the names most people land on. We checked each entry on 5 November 2026 against the shop’s own site, and say where we could not.
We have not shopped at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the shop says it sells, in its own words where we can quote them. Shops often change their hours close to Christmas, so check before a special trip.

From Friday 13 November: The Pantiles Christmas market. Wooden chalets along The Pantiles, 11am to 8pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, then daily from 18 to 24 December. Our Christmas market page has the details.

How we chose
We started with the shops listed on Visit Tunbridge Wells and The Pantiles’ own directory, and kept those whose own website or listing we could read on 5 November 2026 and that still show a shop in the borough. Each opening time, address and price comes from the shop’s own site. Where a shop’s site gives no phone number, it comes from its Visit Tunbridge Wells listing. We left out shops the directories still list but whose own sites no longer show a Tunbridge Wells or Cranbrook shop, such as Whirligig Toys and Blighty’s. We also left out The Silver Sheep, whose site now gives only a Southfield Road address. Run a shop that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@twellstoday.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@twellstoday.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
More for December: the Christmas market, the lights switch-on, ice skating near Tunbridge Wells, Christmas dinner, getting about at Christmas, what’s on this month, things to do in Tunbridge Wells and our local business directory.
