We checked 6 places selling real Christmas trees near Tunbridge Wells, from Pimms at Matfield to Wilderness Wood, for prices, dates and delivery. Updated November 2026.

There are six places to buy a real Christmas tree near Tunbridge Wells in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and what each one sells. The names most people land on are Honnington Farm at Southborough, the closest, which delivers across TN1 to TN4; Pimms Christmas Tree Farm at Matfield, where you choose a tree still growing in the field; and Wilderness Wood at Hadlow Down, where you can cut your own. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.

We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. Stock and dates change as the season goes on, so check the website or ring before a special trip.

It grows Norway spruce and Nordmann fir, from 4ft “right the way up to 30ft”. On its choose-your-own weekends you pick a tree still growing in the plantation and it is cut fresh on the day you collect it or have it delivered.

From 28 November it is open every day.

It says it has trees up to 12ft: you can pick your own from the plantation with a borrowed saw or take a pre-cut tree from the barn, though it warns that cut your own “is very limited at Five Ashes this year due to planting rotation”.

It sells Nordmann fir, Norway spruce, Fraser fir and what it calls “Farmer Toms Famous Sussex Fir”, and there is a Christmas shop of decorations and lights.

To cut your own, you reserve a tree in the field on 7, 8, 14 or 15 November (no parking booking needed, with wood-fired pizza and decoration making), then come back from 21 November with your own saw.

Pre-cut local trees go on sale in the courtyard from 28 November. Its Christmas Fayre weekends of 28 and 29 November and 5, 6, 12 and 13 December bring stalls by local makers, and parking on those days is limited to two hours and best booked.

It says the family has grown Christmas trees there for more than 60 years, and that it leaves cutting “until the last possible moment”, so the trees travel “a few hundred metres to our yard, not across the country”.

It sells Nordmann fir, Norway spruce, Douglas fir, Serbian spruce and Fraser fir from 4ft to 8ft, with larger trees if arranged in advance, plus wreaths, foliage and its own firewood.

Getting rid of the tree in January

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s arrangements for real Christmas trees in January 2027 go on our Christmas bin collections page when they are published.

How we chose

We looked for every business selling real Christmas trees to Tunbridge Wells homes, from a yard within about 16 miles or by delivery, and kept the ones whose own websites show a season this year or, in Honnington’s case, say one is coming. Prices, dates and opening hours come from those websites, checked on 5 November 2026; where a seller has not published something, the entry says so. We left out farms that appear only in old directory listings with no website of their own, Bedgebury, where Forestry England has published no tree sale for 2026, and national online sellers whose Tunbridge Wells pages are the same as every other town’s. Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@twellstoday.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@twellstoday.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
